DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:

  • Job Title: QA/QC Chemist
  • Location: Pasadena, TX
  • Pay: $20-$25/hr.
  • Hours: Primarily days, but should be flexible to work other shifts as needed
  • Duration: temp-to-hire
  • Description of Duties: Test hazardous and non-hazardous raw materials; Perform analysis on all final products; Generate Certificate of Analysis; Calibration of lab equipment
  • Requirements: 4-year degree in Chemistry, Math or similar, or 2-year degree with 2 years’ experience in a lab or industrial chemical manufacturing facility; Must have experience working in the production area blending chemicals; Knowledge of testing procedures including HPLC, IC, LC, Potentiometric Titration, pH, GC, ICP, Basic computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook and ERP systems
