The successful candidate will design and implement comprehensive training programs that drive employee growth, organizational effectiveness, and strategic alignment. This role is pivotal in fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a strategic learning and development plan aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Assess current learning needs and identify future development opportunities.

  • Program Development: Design and oversee the creation of engaging and impactful training programs, including leadership development, technical skills, compliance, and soft skills training.

  • Leadership: Manage and mentor the Learning and Development team. Provide guidance and support to ensure effective program delivery and team performance.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership, department heads, and HR to identify training needs and align programs with organizational goals.

  • Evaluation and Improvement: Implement mechanisms to evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs. Use feedback and data to continuously improve training methodologies and outcomes.

  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the learning and development budget. Ensure efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective program delivery.

  • Vendor Management: Identify and manage relationships with external training vendors and consultants. Negotiate contracts and ensure the quality of outsourced training services.

  • Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in learning and development. Integrate innovative approaches and tools into training programs.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPLP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in learning and development, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.

  • Skills:

    • Proven ability to design and implement effective training programs.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Analytical skills with the ability to assess and interpret training needs and outcomes.
    • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based role with occasional travel required for training sessions, conferences, and meetings.
  • Flexibility in work hours may be necessary to accommodate different time zones and schedules for global teams.
