As a premier landscape management Company, we are proud to partner with Community HOAs, Senior Living Facilities, Corporate Campuses, Multi – multi-family housing Communities, Commercial Properties, CIDs, Etc.

An ideal candidate would be skilled and highly motivated, with a focus on working safely and providing outstanding service. The core requirements of the Operations Manager will be to train, develop, and manage maintenance foreman and their crews.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Plan works in conjunction with the Customer Relations Manager (CRM).
  • Attend and participate in the internal Enhancement Meetings.
  • Interpret proposals, designs, and specifications to effectively install landscapes and direct crews.
  • Provide hands-on leadership and training.
  • Provide material samples and/or manage the build of mockups for client approvals.
  • Assign your crews to projects in alignment with their skills and request equipment as necessary to meet project goals.
  • Co-produce the project schedule with the Director of Enhancement Operations
  • Ensure the effective capture of change order opportunities to support revenue and minimize profit erosion.
  • Inform the VP, and Director of Enhancements and CRM of any change orders for an ongoing project if warranted.
  • Hold yourself and your team accountable for quality, workmanship, efficiency, and adherence to the design plans.
  • Contract with and set goals for subcontractors based on schedules and budgets.
  • Provide proposal documents to the Foreman and set goals to achieve production rates and schedule.
  • Create project schedules for multi-day projects.
  • Procure materials for projects to meet the project schedule.
  • Meet with the Director of Operations weekly providing updates on your assigned projects.
  • Complete required paperwork and time entry reviews daily.
  • Communicate internally and externally to collaborate with project partners, clients, and colleagues.
  • Participate in recruitment activities, job skill training, and educate fellow team members.
  • Enforce and work following all local health and safety laws and regulations at the shop/yard and on job sites.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years as an Operations or Project manager, or 5 years as a Foreman in landscape construction.
  • Expert knowledge of soft-scape and hardscape installation
  • Competently use Adobe and Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • Carry and use a smartphone or data-enabled device for communication and reporting

Work Conditions:

  • Travel to and work at various locations including both residential and commercial landscape construction sites.
  • Flexible working hours, including occasional weekend work.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work safely near heavy equipment and other vehicles regularly.
  • Work outdoors in various conditions, including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold.
