Job Summary:

The Fiscal Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the financial operations of Lightshare. This will be an in-person multi-site position. Working closely with the finance team this role provides fiscal tasks in various areas including AP, AR, billing, charge entry and property management. The Fiscal Assistant provides support and direction in compliance with fiscal policies and procedures.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Conduct research, gather data, and compile information as needed.
  • Support the implementation of new processes or procedures.
  • Prepare reports, documents, and presentations.
  • Enter charges and services in electronic health record system.
  • Provide centralized purchasing/procurement services for the agency including vendor management and negotiations, receive and review purchase requisitions from various departments with the ability to override or change when deemed necessary.
  • Provide property management services for Sober Housing including tenant relations (point of contact for tenants and maintenance requests), conduct tenant screenings, lease negotiations and renewals, rent collections, coordinate drug screenings and case by case lease amendments based on screening outcomes.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree preferred. Strong people skills to provide excellent internal and external customer service along with an ability to set and meet deadlines is required.
