The data center market is experiencing explosive growth globally and we are adding to our team We are seeking a Group Engineering Manager to provide technical solutions and play a vital role in the industry that is at the forefront of shaping the future of technology for our Mission Critical Team. This is a remote position (WFH), with approximately 30% travel expected.

Building Management Systems experience is required, ideally in mission critical applications.

You will:

  • Lead a team in the design and implementation of integrated control systems, including:
    • PLC / SCADA development
    • Process instrumentation and industrial control panels
    • Network architecture
    • Sequence of operations
    • Functional test procedures
  • Execute project work with a focus on scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Support business development by meeting with key clients to discuss new opportunities and review performance.
  • Assist with development of project proposals and estimates.
  • Lead & mentor a team of four to six engineers & technicians to build a strong, cohesive team.
  • Assign team tasks and perform quality checks.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews along with regular 1-2-1 meetings with direct reports.
  • Be an ambassador that prioritizes the success of E Tech Group, our Clients, and the Careers of our associates.

You have:

  • BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent educational background.
  • 8+ years in industrial automation / controls integration industry.
  • 3+ years managing and leading a team.
  • Knowledge of standard engineering practices and procedures.
  • Competency in development of PLC and HMI programs in one or more platforms (Ignition, Schneider Electric, AVEVA, Rockwell, etc.)
  • Experience with process instrumentation (temperature, pressure, level, flow, etc.)
  • Willingness to "lead from the front" by example.
  • The desire to help others grow and succeed professionally.
  • A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30%.
