Position Overview

We are consistently seeking applications for Civil Engineering Project Managers to enhance our Energy & Renewables Group. This role is essential for overseeing projects focused on land development for large-scale wind and solar farm initiatives across the nation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple mid-sized projects, several smaller projects, or a single larger project concurrently.
  • Utilize relevant software and modeling tools, including Civil 3D technology, to design project components.
  • Perform calculations using engineering principles and computer applications to address challenges.
  • Develop specifications and material requirements through thorough research and catalog analysis.
  • Finalize design details and prepare comprehensive plan sets.
  • Assist in formulating engineering and construction cost estimates.
  • Engage in effective communication with clients, team members, and internal design groups.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline, along with professional registration (P.E.) in Texas or other relevant states.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on land development.
  • Strong understanding of project accounting, with demonstrated ability to manage schedules and budgets across multiple projects.
  • Proven track record in client relationship management and contract acquisition.
  • Experience in marketing and supervising technical work.
  • Proficient in CADD and/or Civil 3D software, along with necessary office support applications.
