The Lactation Network is seeking a passionate and driven Product Learning Specialist to join our team. This role will report to the Product Enablement Manager and play a pivotal role in ensuring that our users have the knowledge, skills, and support necessary to maximize the value and adoption of our products and services.

Breakdown of the role
  • Develop and maintain self-help resources (40%). You’ll curate and maintain a library of self-enablement resources aimed at empowering users to troubleshoot and find solutions independently. The library may consist of instructional materials, background documents, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure that materials align with user needs and effectively address common challenges. You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts to continuously update and enhance materials based on feedback and evolving product features.
  • Deliver end-user training (30%). You’ll deliver engaging and informative end-user training sessions to promote product understanding and proficiency. Training will be tailored to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of end users, ensuring maximum comprehension and follow-up. Training may be delivered live, virtual, or on-demand in the form of training sessions, workshops, or webinars to educate users on product features, best practices, and advanced functionalities.
  • Support product releases (30%). This position will partner with the Product Enablement Manager to plan and prepare for new releases, including training deployment for current users. You will develop a deep understanding of new features and functionality to create training materials and support release readiness tasks.
What you’ll do
  • Ensure that training materials are up-to-date, relevant, and tailored to different user personas.
  • Curate and maintain a repository of user documentation, guides, videos, and FAQs to serve as a self-help resource.
  • Train internal teams on new features and enhancements and provide supporting documentation.
  • Demo product features to end users during live, virtual, and on-demand training.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure documentation is accurate and reflects the latest product updates.
  • Partner with the Product Enablement Manager to plan and prepare for new releases, including training deployment and documentation for end users.
  • Work with subject matter experts to continuously update and enhance materials based on feedback and evolving product features.
  • Assist in identifying release readiness tasks and timelines to ensure smooth product launches.

  • 4+ years of proven experience working in product training, learning and development, or product enablement supporting end-user training
  • Passion for user experience, with the technical chops to demo products and features to different audiences
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal) and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment

What we’d also love to see
  • Experience managing a knowledge management system (KMS) or learning management system (LMS)
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or other customer relationship management (CRM) platform
