Havtech is the Mid-Atlantic’s largest and most experienced commercial HVAC equipment, building automation, service, and energy solutions, provider. Havtech represents 50+ manufacturers in HVAC Equipment and Building Automation for both commercial and industrial markets.
WHAT WILL YOUR INTERNSHIP CONSIST OF?
  • Gaining experience from a network of skilled Applications Engineers in Equipment Estimating, Sales, and/or Air Distribution; developing knowledge of represented manufacturers and Havtech’s competitive advantage.
  • Analyzing blueprints, specifications, and proposals; introduction to relevant systems, industry standards, and the submittal process for bids.
  • Providing technical support for our sales teams and customers while gaining valuable experience choosing product selections and creating proposals and pricing summaries.
  • Collaborating with Estimating Operations Leader and Estimating on projects to coordinate activities.

QUALIFICATIONS include the following:
  • Bachelor’s degree currently in progress in Mechanical Engineering or other related areas.
  • Interest in the HVAC industry, and a potential HVAC-related career track.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Web-enabled applications.
  • Ready to learn and volunteer to assist others.
  • Demonstrate collaborative and respectful behavior in a team environment.
  • Excellent math aptitude.
  • Possess time management skills and the ability to follow up.
  • Junior and senior level students are strongly preferred but a class level is not required.
