Your day as a Medical Office Assistant

Join our Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board team as a Medical Office Assistant (MOA), a pivotal role in the Adult Outpatient Medical Services division. As an MOA, you'll support the Division Director with various administrative tasks, from service reports to nursing assessments. Your impact extends to tracking PCP follow-ups, conducting chart audits, and coordinating events.

What you need to be successful

Candidates should possess essential skills and experience to thrive as Medical Office Assistants at Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board. Successful applicants will have at least one year of administrative and medical assistance experience, ideally in an outpatient practice setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) are necessary.
