Position Overview: Wilder Customs seeks a motivated and results-driven Independent Sales Representative (1099) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving sales of our custom apparel and promotional products. This is a commission-based position offering flexibility and the potential for significant earnings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and reach out to potential clients through various channels, including cold calls, networking events, social media, and referrals.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing the quality and benefits of our custom apparel offerings.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Market Research: Have general knowledge about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to effectively position our products and identify new opportunities.
  • Sales Reporting: Track and report sales activities and progress.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with staff while transitioning clients in sales cycle to ensure needs can be met in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven sales experience in the custom apparel or related industry preferred but not required. A strong track record in achieving sales targets is highly desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and negotiate.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using standard office software and online communication platforms.
