Job Description: As a Millwright, you will play a crucial role in our industrial operations, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment used in our manufacturing processes. Your expertise and precision will contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of our facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, assemble, and align machinery and equipment according to specifications, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure machinery operates at optimal levels.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
  • Repair or replace faulty components, such as bearings, gears, belts, and motors.
  • Utilize precision tools and instruments to measure and align machinery parts accurately.
  • Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks to modify or repair equipment as needed.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to schedule and prioritize maintenance activities.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including repair work, parts used, and time spent on each task.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies related to millwright work.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior millwrights when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Military background preferred. Veterans with experience in mechanical or industrial maintenance are highly encouraged to apply.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent. Additional technical training or certification in millwright or industrial maintenance is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Millwright, demonstrating strong mechanical skills and knowledge.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
  • Experience in using precision tools and instruments for measuring and aligning machinery.
  • Welding and fabrication skills are highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Working Conditions:

  • The Millwright will primarily work within our industrial facility, which may include indoor and outdoor areas.
  • Exposure to various weather conditions and loud noises.
  • Physical exertion, including lifting heavy equipment and standing for extended periods, will be required.
  • Occasional travel to other company locations may be necessary.
