Objective:
As a Retail Field Trainer, you will drive store profitability and ensure the success of our retail operations nationwide by executing training programs for franchise owners and their store managers. You will collaborate with the Sr. Manager of Franchise Enablement to align training initiatives with business goals and franchise strategies.
In addition to conducting field training, you will contribute to the development of training resources. This role supports the growth and profitability of our retail network through effective training and continuous improvement of training materials, systems, and processes.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Conduct onsite training via train the trainer model for existing franchise locations and support new store openings as needed.
Perform gap analysis and field audits to identify opportunities and propose solutions for future training development.
Enhance existing training programs using retail business acumen and selling expertise that align with franchise policies and brand standards to maximize revenue and profitability.
Partner cross-functionally with subject matter experts (SMEs) and key stakeholders to identify and eliminate skills/knowledge gaps.
Provide regular updates and progress reports on training activities, performance metrics, and best practices.
Support the execution and logistics for Spice UniversiTea.
Collaborate with the Sr. Manager and Franchise Enablement Team to set training priorities, develop plans, and establish performance benchmarks.
Implement and monitor best practices across the system to enhance guest service standards, optimize sales performance, and profitability.
Offer ongoing coaching to franchise owners and store managers on best utilization of current training resources.
Adapt, in the moment, to unforeseen circumstances including, but not limited to, issues with physical space set-up, technology, resource allocation, scheduling, and/or learner needs.
Support development and maintenance of new and existing training resources to ensure consistent, scalable, and measurable training across all franchise locations.

Knowledge and Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Fully versed in adult learning theories and methodologies.
Minimum 5 years retail experience, specialty retail preferred.
Minimum 5 years training experience, field training, preferred.
Strong knowledge of guest service principles, sales techniques, and retail operations.
Experience in planning and execution of onsite retail training programs, virtual training experience is a plus.
Master level facilitation and coaching skills across varying levels of experience and group size.
Strong servant leadership skills with the ability to lead by example, motivate and influence learners to achieve desired outcomes.
Ability to manage the full training cycle, including conducting in-person activities as well as utilizing e-learning platforms and virtual technology.
Highly collaborative, adaptable, and creative with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment that requires balancing multiple priorities at the same time.
Strong experience and fluency using relevant applications including Microsoft 365 suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time with proximity to a major airport.
Tech savvy with the ability to learn modern technology and new platforms quickly.
Experience with instructional design utilizing Canva and Articulate is a plus.
Additional certification in training is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
When onsite, must be able to stand and move about for extended periods of time, 10-12 hours, up to 100% of the time.
Ability to move up to 30 lbs. throughout the office and on location.
Consistently work around spices; must not be sensitive to various scents and aromas.
No travel restrictions: ability to work varied and extended days on site including weekends, as necessary.
