JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role involves developing quality policies and procedures, conducting quality audits, analyzing quality data, managing quality control teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Manager collaborates with various departments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

RESPONSBILITES:

  • Ensure that the organization’s Quality Management System conforms to customer, internal, ISO 9001, and regulatory/legal requirements.
  • Report to top management on the performance of the QMS (e.g., results of quality audits, corrective actions), including the need for improvement.
  • Keep up on standards, regulations/laws, issues, and news with respect to product (service) quality.
  • Create, develop, standardize and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company and industry standards and regulations.
  • Oversee the Company’s quality management, ensuring that it conforms to ISO requirements and assisting management with the establishment and implementation of the Quality Policy, procedures, continual improvement program.
  • Schedule and prepare for annual ISO audits and correct any findings generated by the audits.
  • Actively contribute to the strategic planning of the business based on industry standards and regulations, customer requirements and feedback, risk management, cost of quality, process metrics, and other key performance indicator.
  • Responsible for managing and delegating the workload of Quality Assurance and Control (QA/QC) services at all sites by leading, supporting, and developing the Quality personnel assigned to the execution of quality process to the level of service.
  • Communicate effectively with various departments (engineering, production, sales) to ensure quality is integrated throughout the entire service lifecycle.
  • All other duties as assigned by your manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing environment including but not limited to quality management.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in ISO knowledge; defining or leading quality implementation, and development.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing people and teams.
  • Strong conflict management and leadership skills; demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
  • Extensive experience in development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s Quality Management System is required
  • Must have strong organizational, analytical, problem solving, and management skills

Preferred:

  • Experience in a gas turbine or industrial repair business.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or field related to the products being developed required
