Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to established protocols and standards. The ideal candidate will be registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the appropriate accrediting body.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations with accuracy and efficiency.
- Produce high-quality images and interpret results for diagnostic purposes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and patient care.
- Maintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols to ensure optimal imaging quality.
- Stay updated on advancements in the field and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Requirements:
- Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the appropriate accrediting body.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
