Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our Maternal and Fetal Medicine team at Novant Health. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with Maternal-Fetal physicians to obtain high-quality images and provide exceptional patient care.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in prenatal imaging. You will be responsible for performing high-level sterilization, maintaining ARDMS certification, and working independently to obtain high-quality images. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to assist MFM physicians with complex procedures and reconcile patient medical and prenatal history.

Responsibilities

As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for:
  • Working in concert with Maternal-Fetal physicians to obtain high-quality images and provide exceptional patient care.
  • Performing high-level sterilization according to Clinical Compliance standards.
  • Maintaining ARDMS certification and working independently to obtain high-quality images.
  • Assisting MFM physicians with complex procedures.
  • Reconciling patient medical and prenatal history.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • 2 Year / Associate Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
  • ARDMS certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • NT Certification within first year of employment.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
