SUMMARY

The Fleet Coordinator works under the supervision of the Fleet Manager to oversee all company-owned light and heavy machinery to ensure the highest standard of quality, safety, and maintenance is being met.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Fleet Acquisition & Sales
    1. Assist Fleet Manager in finding vendors for purchases of vehicles and equipment.
    2. Will coordinate and facilitate pickup, delivery, and drop of all vehicle/equipment purchases and/or sales.

  • Fleet Maintenance
    1. Review weekly Vehicle Inspections with the Fleet Manager to ensure all actionable items notated are being addressed systematically and timely to ensure safe operation of the fleet.
    2. Coordinate with Company personnel on vehicles that require maintenance.
    3. Responsible for ensuring all company vehicles in use are in good working order.
    4. Coordinates with Fleet Manager and transports vehicles to maintenance facilities

  • Fleet Upkeep & Administration
    1. Support the Operations Department(s) and Fleet Manager by means of assessing, coordinating installations and maintaining GPS and Camera Inventory
    2. Ensure vehicle registration, inspection and insurance documents, and fuel cards are always present in the vehicles.
    3. Ensure all proper safety equipment, (fire extinguishers, safety kits, roadside kits) are present in the vehicles.
    4. Assists Fleet Manager in maintaining alerts and driver scores for all fleet drivers.
    5. Assists Fleet Manager in maintaining company fuel card system by assessing and maintaining fuel card inventory, as well as activating, deactivating, and transferring cards when necessary, and producing ad-hoc reports.

  • Other
    1. Ability to comprehend, assess, and respond to ever-changing conditions in real-time.
    2. Understanding of mechanical aspects of vehicles and equipment.
    3. Proactively responds and adapts to the work environment to meet the highest standards.
    4. Expresses ideas clearly in written and oral communication with team members to complete various duties and responsibilities.
    5. Seek growth in expanding knowledge and skills through training and education.
    6. Present self in a clean, neat, professional manner.
    7. Perform other miscellaneous duties assigned.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year of fleet coordinator experience required.
  • 2+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry preferred.
  • Bachelor’s and/or associate degree preferred.
