Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Team Lead to oversee various operational functions within our organization, specifically focusing on client services processes and systems. Reporting directly to the Agency Principal, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in leading a Client Service team to deliver high-quality and efficient service. This person will manage a small book of large commercial business. This role is pivotal in ensuring that goals and objectives align with the office strategy, ultimately impacting business outcomes such as client retention, satisfaction, operational targets, and fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of account managers while managing a small book of commercial lines business.
  • Use technology as a tool to improve productivity and quality.
  • With a knowledge of industry standards, you will have a direct impact on business outcomes such as improving client retention, client satisfaction, improving Superior's value to our clients, achieving operating/margin target, cultivating a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they receive necessary access and training for operational systems.
  • Oversee the evaluation and installation of new hardware systems, collaborating with relevant teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality while maintaining an up-to-date inventory of software and hardware assets, coordinating procurement and disposal as necessary.
  • Serve as the primary administrator for carriers, AMS360,
  • Proficient in Epic backend operations, coordinating book movements, executing carrier setup downloads, establishing branch setups, managing policy downloads, and overseeing suspense tasks.
  • Generate regular reports on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement. Analyze workflows for efficiency and accuracy, making recommendations for optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Commercial lines with a focus on client services.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Agency Management Systems, AMS360.
  • Licensed in Property & Casualty insurance.
  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably with IT operations experience.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
