The Davis County Health Department is currently hiring for a full-time Office Specialist II in Clearfield, Utah. This position provides administrative support spanning multiple functions across different divisions to ensure the effective operation of the Health Department.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

$18.44 - $23.47/hr

Salary based on qualifications and directly related experience.

Requirements

High school graduation plus two (2) years of full time directly related clerical employment; an acceptable combination of education and experience may be considered.

Preference for work experience in purchasing and managing inventories.

Preference for working level skill in Excel.

Day to Day Duties

  • Performs purchasing functions such as: placing and receiving orders, shopping, delivering supplies, and reconciling.
  • Maintains inventories; moves/lifts items up to 50 lbs.
  • Uses spreadsheets for daily tracking.
  • Processes reports, forms, payments, certificates, applications, or other materials; examines for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintains records, files, indexes, registers and books.
  • Acts as initial contact for clients and visitors. Provides courteous, professional and timely service to the public.
  • Provides backup clerical functions across various divisions, including mail delivery, reception areas and vital records division.
