Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Rite Aid of Pennsylvania Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and wellness of our community. Your primary responsibility will be to assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter prescription information, including patient searches, prescriber searches, drug selection, and prescription interpretation.
• Accept customer and prescription information required to process new and refill prescriptions, including refill authorization from doctor offices.
• Retrieve medication from inventory and create prescription labels.
• Place medication into prescription containers and complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions.
• Assist with maintaining the Pharmacy department by keeping it clean and in order.
• Administer Rite Aid programs, including FlavoRx and Living More.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
