Job Description

Primary Function of Position
  • The IT Facilities Project Manager will be responsible for managing the company's real estate IT infrastructure projects.
  • His/her role will be to manage the IT infrastructure part of a variety of projects in the field of plants and business offices.
  • The IT Project Manager will take care of large-scale, highly visible projects, from vision to implementation.
  • We are looking for an experienced individual who can participate in the planning and execution of our projects, as well as contribute to strategy, roadmap discussions and project execution.
  • Your skills will include cross-team collaboration, schedule management, conflict resolution and risk mitigation.
  • You will ensure that we deliver the work committed, share ideas and impacts based on the work delivered.
  • You have the experience and skills to continuously improve the way we develop and deliver initiatives.
  • With a strong analytical mind and the desire to participate in our PM organization and improve the quality of our work.
  • As the ideal candidate, you have excellent communication skills, are familiar with project management tools (both cloud-based and onsite), have expertise in using Office 365 and Smartsheet applications, as well as conferencing tools such as Zoom, Zoom Chat, etc.
Roles and responsibilities
  • Lead and facilitate regular project team meetings, team coordination, action point follow-up, take minutes and communicate.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks while respecting project management objectives.
  • Plan, coordinate and manage large-scale projects while anticipating and mitigating risks.
  • Build integrated dashboards based on data sets from different sources such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, etc.
  • Able to produce clear, integrated reports and dashboards for executive staff.
  • Manage and influence large cross-functional team(s).
  • Deliver meaningful insights and information using tools such as Anaplan and Smartsheet.
  • Assist in the deployment of the IT project management tool ecosystem, while leading project management projects.
Skills/Job Requirements
  • 5 8 years of IT Project Management experience in a waterfall environment.
  • Experience leading project planning sessions with strong prioritization skills and the ability to identify the critical path.
  • Clearly articulate the Business Value (in terms of ROI) for the work/projects committed to the leadership team.
  • Possess solid communication skills and will be comfortable working in a dynamic fast-paced technical environment with experience using waterfall process and best practices to ensure the successful planning and delivery of deliverables.
  • Proven experience in managing project and releases in a large-scale environment.
  • Solid analytical mindset. Ability to define and build dashboards for executive consumption, while bringing in data from different systems.
  • Self-starter with strong decision-making abilities who can drive projects to completion.
  • Proven track record of achieving results through collaboration and teamwork.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, clearly expressing ideas and concepts both verbally and in writing to effectively handle sensitive issues.
  • Stress resistant and the ability to handle multiple job duties in a fast-paced environment.
  • PMP and Agile certification preferred.
