  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following established recipes and techniques, consistently delivering delicious and visually appealing meals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Source and select high-quality ingredients to ensure the freshness and integrity of our dishes.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
  • Adapt recipes to accommodate special dietary requirements and customer preferences.
  • Stay up to date with culinary trends and techniques, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to menu planning and the development of new dishes.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Excellent record of kitchen and staff management

Requirements:

Requirements

  • Proven culinarian experience as a Sous Chef in a restaurant or culinary establishment.
  • In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods and culinary techniques.
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Have a passion for cooking and a keen eye for detail in food presentation.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Proficient in culinary techniques with an understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • 5-10 years of experience as a Sous Chef
  • Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions
  • Familiar with industry’s best practices
  • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
  • BS degree in culinary science or related certificate would be a plus
