As the Training & Development Manager at BELLAMI, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our education initiatives, ensuring our educators and trainers are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel.


Role offers a competitive salary of $90,000.00 and operates remotely Monday through Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the creation and evolution of training, product knowledge classes and onboarding programs to maintain their relevance in line with industry standards and BELLAMI's objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Director of Education to develop comprehensive programs and curricula tailored to the needs of our educators and brand representatives.
  • Conduct regular training sessions and support the onboarding process for educators, trainers, and brand representatives.
  • Lead product training classes to ensure a deep understanding of BELLAMI's offerings.
  • Provide personalized, one-on-one training sessions based on performance evaluations aligned with company goals.
  • Uphold consistent standards of presentation skills across all educators and trainers.
  • Offer supplementary training in areas such as presentational skills, public speaking, and curriculum development on an as-needed basis. • Foster a supportive and empowering environment to maximize educator potential.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with educators and trainers, documenting performance and progress.
  • Generate performance and annual evaluation reports to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Assist in the development and execution of content creation initiatives for the Education Department.
  • Conduct needs analysis and review training requests to prioritize development to maximize the impact for development.
  • Practice program and project management.
  • Manage relationships with educators and trainers in their presentation of educational classes, training programs, and materials.
  • Conduct and facilitate training programs and manage online web-enabled training programs.
  • Review and research training practices, conduct assessments, and utilize other available information to make recommendations and best practices into of training and development

Support for the Company:

  • Develop support materials, including tailored PowerPoint presentations, to meet the specific needs of the BELLAMI Education Department.
  • Provide support to the Senior Director of Education and Education Manager as required.
  • Collaborate on product development initiatives when necessary.
  • Act as a liaison between the Sales Manager and Education Department to ensure the satisfaction of educational programs offered.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year experience in a training/education or related position required.
  • 1+ year of hairstylist (or similar) with specific experience in the different techniques of installation of hair extensions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) for training program delivery and management.
  • Experience with multimedia software for content creation (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong understanding of online collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
  • Apply a sense of urgency, commitment, and focus on the right priorities.
  • Manage multiple complex programs simultaneously and prepare annual project plans and budgets based on priorities. •
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with potential to develop further.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, demonstrated ability to develop positive working relationships supporting collaborative work within Human Resources and across the firm.
