POSITION: OFFICE CLERK
Parks and Recreation Department
Part-time, up to 19 hours/week
SALARY RANGE: $16.00-$17.00/hour
POSITION OVERVIEW &REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The Office Clerk will be responsible for routine filing, typing and related clerical work to support the department. Will assist the public in person, virtually, and by phone with routine inquiries. Will operate office equipment, utilize the Microsoft Suite and other department and/or Town specific software programs.
The skills and knowledge required would generally be acquired with a high school, or equivalent, education. Must possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in a public office setting and experience and/or familiarity with parks and recreation services is desirable.
