- Implementing and maintaining quality control processes to ensure construction standards and client expectations are met.
- Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns.
- Developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, and adjusting timelines as needed.
- Serving as the primary contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates, and addressing concerns.
- Ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements.
- Addressing any issues or conflicts during the project promptly and effectively.
- Maintaining accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and other records.
- Managing the submittal process, including developing submittal log, sending out requests to subcontractors and suppliers, and reviewing submittals.
- Holding a Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Having proven experience as a project manager in the commercial construction industry.
- Possessing strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Demonstrating excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Being proficient in project management software (Sage, Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, etc.)
- Having at least 5 years of experience in commercial construction as a project manager, project engineer, or superintendent.
- Having experience working on projects ranging from $250k to $10 million.
