Role Overview

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of our growth strategy, spearheading initiatives to expand Dynatect's commercial manufacturing and market presence in a specific regional territory within North America. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing comprehensive plans to drive sales growth, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of our products, applications, and industry landscape.
  • Managing and motivating independent sales representatives, overseeing opportunity pipelines, and ensuring performance targets are met.
  • Cultivating and nurturing key accounts, building strong rapport, and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Implementing pricing strategies and negotiating commercial terms to maximize profitability.
  • Providing timely and accurate reporting on sales activities and market trends.
  • Identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities that align with Dynatect's capabilities and strategic objectives.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Proven experience in industrial sales, with a track record of establishing sales budgets, driving revenue growth, forecasts and exceeding targets.
  • Deep understanding of industrial products, technical applications, and customer needs.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve success.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, coupled with a customer-centric approach.
  • Analytical mindset, with the capacity to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Travel within regional territory, Trade Shows and Industry Events presenting solutions to a range of customers from Engineers, Purchasing team(s), Managers and Senior Executives.
  • Understanding the market dynamics & competitive positions in the industry. Knowledge must bridge across multiple industries and channels.
  • Implement price and commercial terms within assigned region. Execute NDAs and commercial agreements.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years with a proven track record of success in a similar position within technical sales or product marketing segments.
  • Ability to manage large accounts.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage and influence Independent Representatives and Key Purchasing Agents.
  • Strong financial acumen including understanding of commercial terms and conditions of sales.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint); ERP experience.
