  1. Basic knowledge of Human Resources specific to California
  2. Recent degree or HR certification.
    1. 2-4 years of direct HR experience is acceptable in lieu of degree or certification.
  3. Intermediate level ability with:
    1. Excel = including basic formulas and formatting
    2. Word Documents = including creation, editing, formatting, etc
  4. Communication
    1. Ability to talk to anyone in the company about anything
    2. Discretion to know when not to talk
    3. Ability to write professional emails to staff, managers and outside vendors
  5. Be Organized
    1. You must be able to manage many different tasks throughout the day, get interrupted and still keep track of your to-dos and deadlines.
  6. Be Adventurous
    1. You love a challenge to be given a project and work with different team members to see that project completed from start to finish.
    2. You enjoy taking on something you haven’t done before
  7. Be Independent and Team Oriented
    1. You work well both as an individual and in a team towards the common goal of a successful day for the department & the company.
