Job Overview


As an FLSC Corporate Sales Director for Kitchen Guard, you will lead, train and manage a team of Consultants by providing expert advice and consultation on fire and life safety matters to both customers and the internal sales team. In addition to technical responsibilities, this position involves outside sales activities and is responsible for account management of the top 50 customer accounts. The objective is to preserve our customer base, expand services into the existing base, and to grow our client base by promoting comprehensive fire and life safety solutions for Corporate stores and Franchise stores. This position will be conducting weekly training for Franchise sales representatives both locally and remotely using a platform such as Skool.

Kitchen Guard Services is one of the largest kitchen exhaust and deep cleaning providers in California.




Primary Responsibilities:


Sales Management/Account Management:


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and key stakeholders for the top 50 accounts.
  • Demonstrate a keen understanding of fire and life safety systems.
  • Supervise team of Consultants and Account managers providing guidance and approvals for proposals.
  • Develop and mentor Sales team in support of overall business objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Set and meet sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization.
  • Manage customers by problem solving and addressing account issues to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular check-ins (business reviews) to assess client satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services.
  • Work cross-functionally with office staff and operations to ensure new customer information is accurate and complete in support of prompt processing of contracts.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements to provide informed consultations.



Corporate Store Sales:


  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the target market.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations to clients, addressing their specific safety needs that showcase our fire and life safety solutions.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to assess the clients needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Problem solves on-site challenges and makes recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop proposals outlining recommended safety solutions, including cost estimates and timelines.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring their fire safety needs are met with tailored solutions.
  • Ensure the safety and efficient installation and maintenance of fire safety equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing safety training to maintain a high level of awareness and preparedness.



Franchise Sales Support:


  • Support new Franchise Owners in understanding Kitchen Guard services, sales strategy, and sales expectations.
  • Conduct periodic training for new Franchise Fire Life Safety Consultants to ensure Kitchen Guard sales methodologies are understood and followed.
  • Provide ongoing general sales support for new Franchise Owners and Consultants.
  • Participate in weekly Eversmith Brands Franchise Sales meetings for updates on training progress and to share best practices for franchise support.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in Fire Science, Safety Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required. Applicants with B2B, Sales Management and/or industry related experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales is required, preferably in the fire and life safety industry, commercial facility services or related fields.
  • Technical knowledge of fire safety systems and equipment.
  • Sales training experience is highly preferred.
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability in dealing with various work environments, including grease or dirty roof tops.
  • Effective time management skills to balance multiple client accounts and tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail in conducting inspections, preparing reports, and recommending solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner to clients.
  • Ability to contribute positively to a team-oriented work environment.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional networks within the industry.

Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to work comfortably at heights and on roof tops.
  • Physically fit, capable of lifting 40+ pounds.
  • Ability to use A-frame ladders.
