Responsibilities:

Supervise and give daily guidance and direction to the Shipping & Receiving personnel as it relates to the program.


• Must demonstrate leadership qualities while resolving interpersonal conflicts and nurturing team work among the diverse team.
• Balance daily workload among the team.
• Must be able to perform the work of the team supervised as this is a working team leader position.
• Keep Site Manager informed of operational efficiencies and potential problems.
• Collect data for reports and assist in the preparation and dissemination of monthly and daily reports.
• Assist in preparation of annual employee appraisals and evaluating daily performance. May include coaching and counseling of
an employee and providing constructive feedback and recognition to the team as appropriate.
• Operation of powered fork lift equipment, when needed
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed at all time
• Handle all materials received at the dock [receive, review, receipt, document, process, prepare, identify, separate, deliver,transport, etc.]
• Deliver, pickup, and transport materials within, between, to, and from various locations [docks, offices, buildings, sites, etc.]
• Use hand held scanner to control inbound and outbound accountable items.
• Work closely with the client to assure all standards and needs are exceeded.
• Perform duties and special requests as assigned by management.


Qualifications:

Must have supervision experience in shipping & receiving and/or office services.
• Must have valid driver's license
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of problem solving skills
• Able to set priorities and motivate others.
• Must be flexible to adapt to changes and multi-task with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Proactive, Self Starter and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Attention to detail.
