Soles Enterprises is looking for a proactive and skilled Mechanic to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical Expertise: Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot issues, perform necessary repairs, and execute preventive maintenance tasks effectively.
  • Judgment in Repairs: Recognize when equipment repairs exceed the capabilities of the in-house team and coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs.
  • Preventive Maintenance Scheduling: Follow  a schedule for regular preventive maintenance and equipment inspections. Your proactive approach will help minimize potential issues and downtime, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Maintenance Record Keeping: Document detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and upgrades. Accurate documentation is essential for tracking progress and ensuring adherence to maintenance standards.
  • Cost Management: Spend resources wisely by looking for cost savings with every purchase. 
  • Facility Organization and Cleanliness: Ensure our facilities are always in top condition by taking part in routine cleaning of shop spaces, and equipment. Your commitment to maintaining a clean workspace will boost operational efficiency and foster a positive work environment.
  • Safety Compliance: Rigorously adhere to all safety policies and procedures, not only for yourself but also for those to whom you delegate tasks.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience as an automotive or diesel mechanic.
  • Proven ability to maintain detailed and accurate records of maintenance tasks and repairs.
  • Experience in scheduling and executing preventive maintenance and equipment checks.
  • Dedication to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skilled in problem identification, solution implementation, and making informed decisions.
