Augmentjobs is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Private Credit Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, a deep understanding of credit markets, and the ability to evaluate private credit investment opportunities. This role involves working closely with senior analysts and portfolio managers to support the investment decision-making process.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Credit Analysis:**

- Conduct comprehensive credit analyses of potential private credit investments.

- Assess the financial health, creditworthiness, and risk factors of prospective borrowers.

- Prepare detailed credit memos and investment recommendations.

2. **Financial Modeling:**

- Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast performance and evaluate potential investment returns.

- Perform sensitivity analyses to assess the impact of various scenarios on investment outcomes.

3. **Market Research:**

- Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and macroeconomic factors that may impact private credit investments.

- Conduct sector-specific research to identify attractive investment opportunities.

4. **Due Diligence:**

- Participate in due diligence processes, including reviewing financial statements, conducting management interviews, and analyzing legal documents.

- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all investments adhere to regulatory requirements.

5. **Portfolio Management Support:**

- Assist in monitoring and managing existing private credit investments.

- Prepare regular portfolio performance reports and present findings to senior management.

6. **Relationship Management:**

- Develop and maintain relationships with borrowers, financial intermediaries, and other stakeholders.

- Support senior analysts in negotiating terms and structuring credit deals.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or CFA designation is a plus.

- 2 to 5 years of experience in credit analysis, private credit, investment banking, or related fields.

- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to conduct detailed financial analyses.

- Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Knowledge of private credit markets and an understanding of different credit instruments.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with financial software and databases (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet) is an advantage.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
