Overview

Under the direction of the Community Manager, the Resident Relations Specialist focuses on resident retention and customer service by supporting community operations.

Knowledge / Skills / Ability

  • Able to provide customer service to current residents and prospects as needed.
  • Independently establish priorities, manage time effectively, and fulfill assigned objectives.
  • Respond to and resolve unexpected problems and handle priority changes in a fast-moving, fluid environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and basic computer skills. Previous experience in Yardi, CRM a plus.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, strong organization skills, and ability to work well with onsite staff, customers, supervisors, corporate office associates and
  • Must be able to effectively communicate, comprehend, speak and Bi-lingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Able to develop and implement resident retention programs.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • A high school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate monthly community resident event.
  • Uphold community online reputation.
  • Support and participate in fulfilling the customer service
  • Identify areas for improvement and offer suggestions to improve the efficiency, productivity, and profitability of the property.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Community Manager.

Community Inspections and Quality Assurance Review

  • Prepare move-in gifts and place them in the make ready apartments prior to move-in.
  • Inspect clubhouse, office, amenities, models, and other common areas daily to ensure they are prepared according to company standards.
  • Participate in immediate litter pickup around community exteriors and common areas to maintain community appearance.
  • Assist in unit turn inspections.
