In this remote Summer Internship program, you will be given the opportunity to join the MOON Oral Beauty Marketing Team where over the course of 3 months, you will be able to learn and take their knowledge of the beauty industry to the next level. This program will support up and coming students who are Los Angeles based, in becoming the gamechangers of the future with both beauty and personal care experience.

We are seeking a highly-organized, proactive, and passionate intern with a strong interest in social media and influencer marketing. While being creative, innovative & customer-obsessed are essential to thriving in our fast-paced environment, we ask that this person be just as excited to learn as we are to help them grow. This intern will work closely with & under the daily guidance of the marketing team, but will also have the opportunity to interact with all departments throughout their internship.

Time Needed: 3 months.

Timeframe: May – September

Dates: 2-3 Days a Week (16-20 hours/week)

Responsibilities:

  • Support in the operations and production of TikTok Livestream events including concepting themes, booking locations, sourcing props, and coordinating giveaways.
  • Source influencers recipient lists, manage product send-outs, track packages, monitor posting coverage, and assist with performance recaps for mass product seeding programs.
  • Work closely with Marketing Team and Social Media Agency to conceptualize, create, plan and execute engaging and visually appealing social/digital content.
  • Concept and assist in the execution of community-building social programs to engage our followers and increase loyalty with our consumer.
  • Engage with brand's online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries across social platforms in a timely and professional manner, fostering a positive and interactive online environment
  • Support marketing team with general requests related to social photoshoots, competitor research, and community management needs.

Experience/Skills:

  • Proficiency in social media platforms: Ability to navigate, understand, and effectively use Instagram and TikTok.
  • Ability to generate fresh ideas for social media content, campaigns, and strategies, as well as adapt to new trends and technologies in the social media landscape
  • Knowledgeable in content creation, video editing, and design
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and positively with team members, partners, and community
  • Extremely organized, detail-oriented and a strong collaborator
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Passionate about community-driven marketing and building programs that foster loyalty and authentic connections to a brand

Requirements:

  • Must attend 4-year college, university or community college
  • Previous internship experience in marketing/social OR coursework demonstrating marketing/social knowledge
  • Los Angeles/Orange County based for onsite support during Livestreams (max. 1x/weekly)
  • Must be willing to send and receive bulk product requests for product seeding

Hourly Rate: $17/hr
