Job Title: Robotic Welder/Operator

Department: Frame Welding

Reports to: Research and Development Manager

Location: Onsite, Hillsboro, OR

Job Summary:

The Robotic Welding Technician will help in the operation of the robotic welders by staging material, loading and unloading material, among other duties.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in loading and unloading of material into/on robot welders
  • Help stage material for welding
  • Perform cleaning and light maintenance on robot welders as needed
  • Ensure clean and safe working environment
  • Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned

Skills Integral to the Job:

  • A reputation for taking initiative, setting goals, and getting things done
  • The ability to efficiently manage and organize several projects at one time
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passion for getting things done right the first time, continuous improvement, and innovation
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, and both a leader as well as a team player
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure
  • Passion for keeping work area neat and organized
  • Ethical conduct

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience with robot welding preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods standing and bending required
  • Must be able to safely traverse facilities and machinery by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stopping and carrying materials
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times
