Location: Onsite, Hillsboro, OR
Job Summary:
The Robotic Welding Technician will help in the operation of the robotic welders by staging material, loading and unloading material, among other duties.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in loading and unloading of material into/on robot welders
- Help stage material for welding
- Perform cleaning and light maintenance on robot welders as needed
- Ensure clean and safe working environment
- Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned
Skills Integral to the Job:
- A reputation for taking initiative, setting goals, and getting things done
- The ability to efficiently manage and organize several projects at one time
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for getting things done right the first time, continuous improvement, and innovation
- Self-motivated, self-directed, and both a leader as well as a team player
- Ability to read and use a tape measure
- Passion for keeping work area neat and organized
- Ethical conduct
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with robot welding preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and bending required
- Must be able to safely traverse facilities and machinery by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stopping and carrying materials
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times
