SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to support the Recruiting Manager, from advertising open roles, interviewing candidates, and closing hires. Recruitment Specialist responsibilities include connecting with potential candidates online and offline, screening applications, and supporting hiring managers.


Essential Duties:

  • Build and report on quarterly and annual hiring plans
  • Create and publish job ads in various portals
  • Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during events
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to set qualification criteria for future employees
  • Screen resumes and job applications
  • Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates
  • Interview candidates in person for a wide range of roles (junior, senior, and executive)
  • Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill, and source of hire
  • Design, distribute and measure the results of candidate experience surveys
  • Host and participate in job fairs
  • Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications, Education, and/or Experience:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational psychology, or minimum 5 years related field experience.
  • 8 Years' experience as a Recruitment Coordinator, or similar role
  • Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and websites like LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster, etc.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent computer skills (MSWord, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Team and Competitive spirit
  • Oil and Gas Preferred
