Specific Areas of Responsibility to Position:Contract Development:
  • Oversee the development of contract templates and standard language, ensuring consistency and compliance with industry regulations, state requirements, and local regulations.
  • Draft, review, and finalize contracts, ensuring clarity and comprehensiveness.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of contracts, from initiation to closure, renewal, and termination.
  • Oversee centralized repository of contracts and associated documentation.
Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure all contracts comply with federal, state, and local regulations and county policies.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct regular audits and review of contracts to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Develop and implement procedures for contract amendments and renewals.
Coordination and Communication:
  • Serve as lead point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding contract issues.
  • Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information and input for contract development and management.
  • Facilitate training and support for staff on contract management policies and procedures.
  • Stay informed about best practices and industry standards in contract management.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor team members, providing guidance and contract management.
  • Foster teamwork, collaboration, and a sense of belonging among team members.
  • Make informed and timely decisions within their areas of responsibility.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities and provide clear instructions and expectations for delegated tasks.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss updates, challenges, and process improvements.
  • Identify training needs and develop training opportunities within the team for professional development.
  • Hold team members accountable for their responsibilities and commitments.
  • Generate regular reports on contract status, compliance metrics, and key performance indicators.
