Job Function:

Member of the Claims Team Performs support functions as assigned SLA record keeping, document procurement, Vendor Partner research coordination, data pulls, data entry, spread sheet template building, claim research and look up, packaging of responses to the client and record management.

"Has minimum necessary access to Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) by Job Description/Role."

General Duties:

  • Coordinates Vendor Partner Research for claims management. Reviews and organizes electronic records according client specifications.
  • Utilizes response templates to include both word documents as well as Excel spread sheets.
  • Pulls all related/requested claim information via multiple portals and Claim's operating systems.
  • Consistently meets established performance standards and consistently demonstrates excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Organizes data such as member impact, provider impact, payment impacts data Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • College degree preferred
  • Minimum of one year prior claims support experience preferred
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Word, & Excel (pivot tables, macros and formulas) required
  • Ability to learn or current working knowledge of SQL required
  • Ability to demonstrate success in report generations, and macro building required
  • Ability to demonstrate success in analytics support. required
  • Ability to demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills required
  • Knowledge of medical and/or dental terminology preferred. ICD9 and ICD10 proficiency preferred.
