Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as an Insurance Administration Specialist. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth functioning of insurance processes, requiring a keen eye for accuracy and strong organizational skills. As an Insurance Administration Specialist, you will be responsible for handling various administrative tasks related to insurance policies, claims, and client interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Policy Management: Manage insurance policies including processing new applications, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
  2. Claims Processing: Handle insurance claims from initiation to settlement, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and processed in a timely manner.
  3. Client Support: Provide excellent customer service to clients by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering guidance on insurance matters.
  4. Data Entry and Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of insurance policies, claims, and client interactions in our database systems.
  5. Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all insurance-related documents and procedures comply with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with insurance agents, underwriters, and other team members to facilitate smooth operations and optimize customer satisfaction.
  7. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on insurance activities, trends, and performance metrics for management review.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in insurance administration, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of insurance policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and insurance management software.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
