The candidate will be supporting The Ohio Department of Transportations (ODOT) Asset Management Team.
This position will function as a skilled PS2 within the Department of Information Technology responsible for tracking, updating, and movement of Information Technology desktop and network assets..

Specific responsibilities:
  • Updating meta-data required for asset management.
  • Add newly acquired assets to the system.
  • Reassignment of assets, based on ServiceNow incident tickets.
  • Coordinated and organizing disposal of ODOTs computer and networking outdated equipment.
  • Maintaining organization of working area.
  • Append asset tags to newly acquired equipment.
  • Reporting from the Asset management system to aid in biennium reconciliation
  • Mobile AV support
  • Unpackaging and movement of equipment.
  • Follow quality standards.
  • Analytical and customer service skills.
  • Communicate accurate and useful status updates.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Complete assigned tasks.
  • Strong communication skills; both written and spoken.
Years of Relevant Experience: 3 - 4 years.

Preferred Education: 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study.
