New Gig Solutions has partnered with a well-established public accounting and business consulting firm in Towson is seeking a Senior Accountant or Manager with excellent analytical skills to join their accounting and tax professionals.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the in-charge accountant on firm accounting services and tax engagements.
  • Prepare complex business and individual tax returns, with some tax review experience.
  • Utilize effective tax planning and mitigation skills to benefit clients.

Skills and Abilities:

  • CPA or CPA candidate.
  • 5 to 10 years of public accounting experience.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to implement solutions.
  • Highly organized and able to manage changing priorities.
  • Be able to mentor staff and work with clients in many different industries
  • Extensive experience with ProSystem Tax, XCM, or similar workstream management software.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, with Saturdays during tax season.
