Position Description:
LCG is seeking SharePoint Developer to support and continue the development of solutions on a Client Intranet using Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), and other similar products. The solutions developed will enhance collaboration, improve efficiency in health communication education, and streamline business operations within client offices.
Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and deploy new M365 SharePoint Online sites and applications, ensuring functionality, access, reliability, availability, and usability for all users.
· Maintain and enhance existing SharePoint Online sites and Power Platform applications by incorporating new business processes and data enhancements.
· Utilize Agile methodology for all development activities, including backlog maintenance, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
· Develop and execute test cases for Unit Testing, System Testing, 508 Compliance Testing, Regression Testing, and Data Validation Testing (DVT).
· Perform functional, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure all new developments meet client requirements and standards.
· Ensure all changes are documented in client change control and configuration management tools.
· Provide routine support to maintain the availability, reliability, and security of OHCE M365 and Microsoft Power Platform applications.
· Perform software upgrades and ensure compatibility with existing systems, including necessary testing procedures.
· Conduct continuous quality assurance/quality control to minimize defects and downtime.
· Provide monthly reporting on infrastructure impact, software upgrades, capacity, and other relevant changes.
· Participate in project management activities, including planning, organizing, and managing technical, administrative, and personnel actions as required to perform the task order.
· Store all work documents within the designated SharePoint environment and use JIRA or similar tools for task management.
· Provide project-related content using the Agile methodology, including sprint cycles, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.
· Ensure all development activities align with Client’s Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC) processes and guidelines.
· Collaborate with client teams to enhance current and future business processes.
· Facilitate stakeholder review and prioritization of backlogs, and document requirements/user stories in JIRA or similar tools.
· Coordinate with the client and project managers to ensure successful project execution, including attending and facilitating meetings such as design sprints, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
· Create and maintain a master project plan and schedule, including scope, objectives, resources, timeline, and task dependencies.
· Submit weekly and monthly status reports detailing accomplishments, upcoming plans, risks, issues, and financial status.
· Write and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and materials in accordance with the client requirements and ensure all documents are uploaded to the appropriate SharePoint project repository.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in SharePoint development, including experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and other related tools.
· Experience with Agile methodology, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and user story development.
· Excellent project management skills, including experience with JIRA or similar task management tools.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Compensation and Benefits
The projected compensation range for this position is $115,000 to $135,000 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
