Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Conduct thorough analyses and provide insights into financial performance.
  • Accounting Operations: Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts general ledger management and reconciliations. Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting procedures.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts. Provide detailed variance analyses and recommend actionable strategies to improve financial performance.
  • Compliance & Audit: Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations and standards. Coordinate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analyses to support decision-making processes and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • CPA certification is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of two years of Big 4 and/or public accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven experience in financial statement preparation, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management.
