The goal of our Intern program is to develop future engineering resources for our organization while providing support to our design engineers. Under guidance of the senior engineering staff, the students will be assigned to teams associated with multiple ongoing design projects. Interns will be exposed to several phases of project design, including program development, systems design and coordination, and construction administration.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the design and construction administration of various on-going large-scale projects
  • Contribute to the development of system specifications and designs through multiple project phases including administration of on-going project construction, perform system research and assistance in the quality control of project deliverables
  • Help establish design standards to be used on future projects
Qualifications:
  • General understanding of construction documentation preferred
  • General understanding of computer networks and telecommunications systems preferred
  • Good documentation skills
  • Strong general computer skills
  • Familiarity with MS Office products required
  • Exposure to Computer-aided Design software platforms (AutoCAD, Revit) considered beneficial
  • Must be currently enrolled student majoring in Electrical, Architectural or Computer Engineering at an accredited university
  • Must have completed freshman year. Third/Fourth year students preferred.

This internship is located in Hamden, CT, with occasional day trips to New York City (travel expenses to NY are reimbursable)

Introba is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $18- $22 DOE annually for this position and local market.
