For over 80 years, our focus has been to provide equipment and service for motor fueling systems in the upper Midwest. We exist to deliver tools and expertise to solve customer problems and help them make more money.

Position Summary:

Troubleshoot, repair, and install equipment in the petroleum industry.

  • Accountable for diagnosing, repairing, configuring, and installing equipment and software sold by O’Day Equipment or requested by customers.
  • Provides complete and accurate description of all work performed for invoicing and inventory control
  • Extensive internal and external customer service and communication
  • Accountable for regular Service Truck maintenance
  • Continuous learning through vendor training, monthly safety training, new products and product updates

Position Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to read blue prints and schematics
  • Petroleum experience a plus
  • Strong judgement and decision making skills
  • High level of self-accountability
  • Both mechanical and basic electronics skills required

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to attend and pass required certifications for job.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical Activity – frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motion
  • Heavy Work – exerting up to 100lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 50lbs of force frequently, and/or up to 20lbs for force constantly to move objects
  • Visual Acuity – required to have close visual acuity to perform duties such as: visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, machine operation, using measurement devices, operate machines, perform mechanical work, operate motor vehicles
  • Working Conditions – subject to both environmental conditions – activities occur inside and outside

  • Valid and insurable driver’s license
  • Overnight travel is required
  • Background check
