Essential Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintain the EP’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, speaking engagements and travel arrangements.
  • Exercise discretion in committing time and evaluating needs.
  • Draft, review and send communications on behalf of the Executive Pastor.
  • Organize and prepare for meetings, including gathering documents and attending to logistics of meetings.
  • Serve as liaison between EP, staff and public; this includes but is not limited to: screening phone calls and visitors, answering a variety of questions with tact and diplomacy, taking messages, and directing calls appropriately for resolution.
  • Prioritize emails and respond when necessary.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements.
  • Determine priority of matters of attention for the EP; redirect matters to staff to handle, or handle matters personally, as appropriate.
  • Keep EP advised of time-sensitive and priority issues, ensuring appropriate follow up.
  • Maintain confidential and sensitive information.
  • Attend meetings and take notes of discussion; prepare the initial draft of minutes and summaries.
  • Occasionally provide personal support including but not limited to pickups, deliveries, etc.
  • Own EP office upkeep and restock refreshments, toiletries, and other needed items.
  • Anticipate needs of EP on Sunday mornings and all church events.
  • Other additional and/or alternative duties as assigned from time to time

 

 

Online Campus Responsibilities

  • Oversee, organize and represent the Lakeside Online campus.
  • Develop, oversee and ensure Online Campus systems are implemented consistently.
  • Ensure that the Online Campus consistently functions according to Lakeside’s Core Values.
  • Ensure the Online Campus resources and volunteers are prepared and equipped for ministry on Sunday and Special Services.
  • Ensure watch party hosts have all tools and resources needed to feel prepared and supported for ministry when they open their home.
  • Review and revise Online Campus systems bi-annually or as needed for expediency.
  • Work closely with Lakeside Staff leaders and analyze effectiveness of resources and systems, adjust as needed.
  • Lead, build, and train volunteers and watch part hosts to execute all aspects of the online campus for weekend and special services.
  • Recruit, develop, and train high quality leaders for the online campus leadership roles.
  • Engage in on-going communication with online campus leaders, watch party hosts, and Lakeside leaders.
  • Oversee all aspects of department administration to include: Data tracking, team scheduling, tracing records, watch party weekly hosting, etc.
  • Develop and implement watch party host standards.
  • Consistently communicate and collaborate with watch party hosts and team leadership to accommodate the campuses unique opportunities and challenges.
  • Collaborate with Staff and team to ensure excellence during all Lakeside Online Experiences.
  • Oversee function and quality of all aspects of Lakeside Online Campus.
  • Lead department meetings and empower leaders to fulfill their unique roles.
  • Oversee all internal and external communication that represents the Online Campus.

 

 

Experience and Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Three to five years’ prior experience in supporting a senior executive, pastor, or team/
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Time-management skills.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Organization skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Basic understand of frequently used computer software programs such as Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
