We are looking for a motivated Sales Representative in the Houston area to grow our client base in the oilfield and shipping industries.


Job Overview:The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales of the Merlin Recorder, focusing on the oilfield and marine shipping sectors. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales, strong knowledge of pressure vessel testing, and established relationships in the oilfield and marine industries.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target key clients in the oilfield and marine shipping industries.
  • Present and demonstrate the benefits of the Merlin Recorder for pressure vessel testing.
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers in relevant industries.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • Provide technical insights and support to clients regarding the product’s capabilities.
  • Coordinate with the technical team to ensure smooth delivery and setup of the product.
  • Track sales activities and report progress to management.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the oil and gas instrumentation or marine industries.
  • Knowledge of pressure vessel testing and regulatory standards.
  • Network of contacts within the oilfield and/or marine sectors.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel within the Houston area and potentially beyond.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in selling technical equipment or solutions to the oil and gas industry.
  • Familiarity with wireless data logging systems and pressure monitoring technologies.
  • Go-getter attitude and teamwork focused
