We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Finance and Accounting to join our team. This role is critical in driving the financial health and operational success of our agency. The Director of Finance and Accounting will oversee all financial activities, ensure the accuracy of financial reporting, develop budgets, manage risks, and provide strategic financial guidance to support our growth and long-term sustainability.

 

What You'll Do: 


Financial Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive team to drive decision-making.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Accounting Operations:

  • Manage and lead the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
  • Implement and maintain robust accounting systems and controls.
  • Optimize and streamline accounting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage monthly quickbooks

Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate financial risks to the organization.
  • Oversee insurance policies and ensure adequate coverage for all assets and operations.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard the company's financial assets.

Stakeholder Relations:

  • Act as a key liaison with banks, investors, auditors, and other financial stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors


What You Have: 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Quickbooks
