Under the supervision of the Packaging Supervisor or Production Supervisor, packs products according to case count and quality specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the final forming of the product to specifications. Slice tops to product specifications.
- Monitor the units on the Proofer plates to ensure they are meeting quality specifications.
- Align product on Proofer plates for efficiency as they travel to the oven.
- Align units exiting the oven onto the cooling conveyor for maximum cooling.
- Perform general sanitation cleanup of Proofer workstation and oven areas.
- Assure cutting blades are sharp for cutting products and are disposed of properly.
- Assist the Oven Operator in maintaining process control of the Proof Box and Oven.
- Awareness of Lockout/Tagout procedures and adherence to GMP’s policies.
- Additional tasks may be assigned as needed
- 10-Works to maintain and improve on the quality, legality, and safety of each product and the processes used in their manufacture.
- Responsible for keeping assigned work area clean and tidy at all times and reporting any potential contamination and suspicious activity to a Supervisor immediately.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred
- Ability to work consistently at the standard processing pace for performing job functions.
- Ability to comprehend verbal instructions and directions to perform job tasks. Ability to stand for an extended period of time.
- Lift and dump approximately ten pounds of dough waste when necessary. Ability to work in an enclosed environment. Ability to work in harmony with peers. Quality and safety conscious in executing job functions.
Shift: 1st shift
Hourly Rate: $18.91 - $20.66

The final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, shift, education, skill, and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed In this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements. We provide a competitive compensation package that recognizes your experience, credentials, and education alongside a robust benefits program to meet your needs. For union-represented postings, wage rates and ranges are governed by applicable collective bargaining agreements.
