You are part of one team taking ownership and responsibility for the care and keeping of this house. You stay willing and eager to serve in big and small ways, from welcoming guests to picking up trash.

COORDINATION
  • Responsible for supporting the administrative functions needed for the Ministry Leads and volunteer team; including scheduling and communication; service oversight team; prepare and facilitate pre-service huddles and debriefs
  • Coordinates all recruiting, training and communication concerning volunteer onboarding into the ministries
  • Coordinate volunteer meetings and trainings including providing agendas, snacks, documentation, note taking, recording, and followup, including managing designated action items through fruition.
  • Coordinate with Ministry Leadership to manage the department calendars and partners with the Strategy and Marketing Department to ensure effective communication of events.
  • Collaborate with Leadership in the planning, strategizing, scheduling of events and meetings for the ministries
  • Oversee all media/production teams for weekly services
  • Serve the team by preparing the ministry rooms, and communicating needs to department heads, ensuring all resources (snacks, inventory) are available for weekly services
  • Responsible for ordering operational supplies, theming décor, café, books, benevolent gifts, etc.
  • Maintain Rock connections board, volunteer leader database, ensuring all contact info, ministry team and background checks are up to date.
  • Review, maintain, train and execute ministry and emergency policies and procedures for volunteers
  • Process and file departmental credit card expense reports, classroom roster and attendance reports
  • Collect, submit incident and coach reports to Ministry Pastors
Student Ministry
  • Collaborate alongside the Pastor with student visibility serving within the campus
  • Facilitate requests and coordination of all next steps for Student Ministries pertaining to Growth Track and discipleship
  • Support with biblical guidance of student, as needed
  • Maintain Student Ministry social media presence
  • Facilitate parent-teen mediation along with scheduled follow up
  • Support the Pastor with oversight of small groups / care for coaches
  • Assists in directing all special events and retreats
Children’s Ministry
  • Ensure classroom inventory, curriculum printout, A/V digital media, and resources are stocked, set, and maintained, including but not limited to organization and restocking of supplies
  • Collaborate with Ministry Pastor, Volunteer Leads on envisioning, strategizing, décor purchasing and implementing curriculum theming.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Two years of experience in a related position is preferred.
  • Strong leadership & organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced, collaborative, environment
  • Maturity and good judgment in dealing with interpersonal matters
  • Flexible schedule (available evenings and weekends)
  • Reliable transportation to travel between campuses
  • Knowledge of both Mac and Microsoft 365 Office Suite software
