Position Summary:

The role involves the precise and timely management of shipping, receiving, and inventory processes. Responsibilities include preparing and handling finished goods for customer delivery and inter-company transfers, as well as maintaining accurate shipping and receiving documentation to support efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload products from delivery vehicles.
  • Prepare and verify shipping documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of received goods and materials.
  • Process customer sales orders for shipping in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
  • Adhere to all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) protocols.
  • Utilize prescribed Personal Protective Equipment and ensure safety measures are followed.
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding any unfamiliar tasks.
  • Report unsafe conditions or practices immediately to supervisors.
  • Understand and uphold the importance of safety and environmental responsibility as part of Sika's core principles.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in shipping and/or warehousing with inventory management is necessary.
  • Proficient typing, mathematical, and customer service skills are essential.
  • Ability to operate both sit-down and stand-up forklifts is required.
