This is a full-time, benefitted position for a Lead Mammography/X-Ray Tech at our Woodbridge, Virginia Center.

This position is for FRC employees only.

Who you are:  

As the Lead Mammography/ X-Ray Tech for Fairfax Radiology Centers (FRC), you are ready to take your experience as a Mammography Tech to the next level. You enjoy the idea of training, coaching, and developing the team to perform at the highest level.  

What you’ll do:  

  • Work closely with the Center Manager to clarify scheduling protocols, patient preps, and physician orders 
  • Responsible for the day-to-day activities in Mammography/X-Ray to include, but not limited to the following: 
    • Planning additional days of service if needed 
    • Providing extra time for down units 
    • Adjusting schedules as needed 
    • Maintain accurate records associated with QA procedures, equipment maintenance, and other areas as needed 
    • Participate in the interview and hiring process 
  • Perform Mammography/X-Ray exams
  • Embracing a patient-centered approach, you'll deliver Mammography services with professionalism and exceptional customer care 

What you’ll bring:  

  • 3+ years’ experience performing Mammography/X-Ray within FRC is required 
  • Advanced knowledge of Quality Assurance 
  • ARRT certification in RT (R) certification is required 
  • Active Virginia RT license 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.  
  • Strong customer service skills.
